Senior Technical Designer – Premium Denim Brand

Location: On-site (5 days/week)

Salary: $90K DOE

A premium denim brand with a cult following is seeking a full-time Senior Technical Designer to join our team. This role will focus on 5-pocket and fashion denim , as well as denim RTW , working alongside a small but highly skilled team of technical designers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate closely with the Tech Design Manager and design team on all fittings with live models.
• Develop and maintain tech packs, fit comments, and pattern corrections to ensure design intent and quality standards are met.
• Oversee sample organization and ensure timely communication with factories.
• Utilize patternmaking knowledge to troubleshoot fit and construction challenges.
• Partner with cross-functional teams, including production and design, to refine and improve garment execution.

Qualifications & Experience:

• 5+ years of technical design experience , preferably in denim.
• Strong expertise in 5-pocket denim construction, fashion denim, and denim RTW .
• Proficiency in patternmaking, garment construction, and fit evaluation .
• Experience working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment with live model fittings.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and sample management.
• Proficiency in industry-standard software (Adobe Illustrator, PLM, Excel, etc.).
