Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and strategic Production Supervisor to join our dynamic team in the automotive industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating daily production activities to ensure efficiency and meet production deadlines. As a key member of our management team, the Production Supervisor will work closely with various departments, including engineering and quality assurance, to optimize production processes and maintain high standards of safety and quality. The candidate will be expected to lead a team of skilled workers, providing guidance and support to increase productivity and morale.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate production operators, with headcounts ranging from 15-40 depending on shift and production needs (never exceeding 40).
• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of production workers for optimal performance and productivity.
• Develop and implement production schedules and processes to meet customer demands.
• Monitor production metrics and take corrective actions to address any variances from goals.
• Promote 3R principles (Right material, quantity, position) and enforce 5S standards.
• Manage on-site Safety, Health, and Environmental (S.H.E) compliance.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Production Supervisor in the automotive industry or similar manufacturing environment.
• Must be proficient in LEAN, Six Sigma, and interpreting information from MES systems. Familiarity with SPC and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Strong understanding of production processes, workflow procedures, and quality control techniques.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide team members.
• Effective problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure.
• Proficiency in using production management software and data analysis tools.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to facilitate collaboration across teams.

Shift: 12-hour continental shift, with attendance required every other weekend.
