Job Description


Acara Solutions is seeking an Email Marketing Operations Specialist for our client in the cloud-based software space. 

✔️ Part-Time : Approximately 20 hours per week; flexible hours, but availability required during standard Monday-Friday EST business hours.
✔️ Pay Rate : Flexible and dependent on expertise in Braze.
✔️ Contract : Through November 2025, with the possibility for extension.
✔️ Location : 100% Remote; candidates in the EST time zone are highly preferred.

As a Marketing Operations Specialist , you will play a vital role in our clients marketing strategy by enabling seamless customer journey campaigns through our journey orchestration tool, Braze. You'll work closely with Marketing stakeholders and cross-functional teams to deliver effective multi-channel campaigns that enhance customer experiences and engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with Marketing stakeholders to operationalize our clients journey orchestration tool (Braze) for multi-channel campaigns, including Email, In-Product Messaging, SMS, and more.
  • Support the Campaign Operations team in building and managing complex campaigns within Braze.
  • Act as a technical resource for email development, ensuring high-quality and responsive designs.
  • Explore opportunities to leverage additional tools, such as Pendo and Marketo, to enhance campaign execution.
  • Collaborate across teams to drive process improvements that enhance speed and efficiency.
  • Communicate progress and updates effectively to ensure alignment across stakeholders.

Job Requirements

Required Skills / Qualifications:

  • Minimum 4 years of experience in a systems/operational role working with marketing technology and stakeholders.
  • Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience using journey orchestration, SMS, IPM, and email tools (e.g., Braze, Iterable, Customer.io, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Twilio, Pendo).

Preferred Skills / Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in front-end development (JavaScript, HTML, CSS) to support campaign assets and templates.
  • Demonstrated experience building and managing campaigns across multiple channels (email, push notifications, SMS, in-app messaging).
  • Adaptable and comfortable in a fast-paced environment, with strong organizational and time management skills.
  • A collaborative, empathetic approach to teamwork and stakeholder management, with a clear understanding of audience needs.
  • Strong understanding of system integration principles and experience troubleshooting system issues.
