Hello Special Education Teachers!

Come work with a woman and therapist run company! Ampersand Therapy is seeking to elevate the employment experience of working in schools. We are hiring Special Education teachers in the Phoenix, AZ (85013) area for the remainder of the 24-25 school year.

Job Details:

• Full-time, 1.0 FTE
• Level C Program
• Caseload of 6 students - 2nd & 3rd graders
• Self-contained specialized program for students who need behavior support
• Collaborate with team members including the general education teacher, related services staff, school psychologists, parents and other district personnel
• Facilitate the development of a comprehensive individualized education program that will support students in the least restrictive environment
• Implement accommodations, interventions, etc. according to student IEPs
• Attend staff meetings, IEP meetings, and coordinate with school teams

Qualifications :

• Bachelor’s Degree in Special Education
• Valid Arizona Special Education teaching certificate
• MUST HAVE active fingerprint clearance card
• Master’s Degree preferred
