We are a leading HVAC service provider with a strong reputation for excellence, innovation, and customer satisfaction. As we expand our service offerings, we are launching a new plumbing division to complement our existing HVAC operations. We are seeking a strategic and dynamic Director of Plumbing Services to lead the development, implementation, and growth of this exciting new line of business.

Position Summary:

The Director of Plumbing Services will be responsible for building and scaling a new plumbing division from the ground up. This hands-on leadership role will involve designing operational strategies, recruiting and managing plumbing teams, establishing field operations, collaborating with internal HVAC teams, and driving business development efforts. The ideal candidate is entrepreneurial, operationally strong, and experienced in both plumbing services and building service organizations. This role requires 50% travel across the Southeast U.S. to oversee regional growth, support branch offices, and ensure operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement the plumbing services business model within the existing HVAC company framework.

• Lead the planning, setup, and launch of plumbing operations, including staffing, systems, tools, and vendor relationships.

• Recruit, hire, train, and manage plumbing teams across multiple markets.

• Collaborate closely with executive leadership, sales, operations, and field teams to ensure seamless service integration.

• Establish processes for quality control, safety compliance, scheduling, customer service, and profitability.

• Drive new business development initiatives, support sales teams with plumbing service offerings, and participate in major sales presentations.

• Ensure full compliance with all local, state, and federal plumbing regulations and licensing requirements.

• Build KPIs, reporting structures, and operational benchmarks to monitor division performance.

• Serve as the subject matter expert on plumbing industry trends, technologies, and best practices.

• Travel approximately 50% throughout the Southeast to manage regional plumbing operations and support field teams.

Qualifications:

• 8+ years of plumbing industry experience, including at least 5 years in a leadership or management role.

• Proven experience launching or scaling plumbing services within a service-oriented organization (preferred).

• Journeyman or Master Plumbing license (preferred, but not required).

• Strong business acumen with experience building budgets, P&Ls, operational plans, and growth strategies.

• Experience working within or alongside HVAC, mechanical contracting, or building services companies.

• Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to recruit, build, and inspire teams.

• Excellent communication, organizational, and project management skills.

• Willingness to travel 50% across the Southeastern U.S.

• Based in or willing to relocate to Atlanta, GA
