Join us as a Clinical Lab Scientist – MedSurg – Make an Impact!

Location: Tehachapi, CA

Duration: 13 Weeks(Contract)

Shift: variable shifts, including both 10-hour and 12-hour shifts, with flexibility to work days and nights.

Scheduled Hours: 36 Hours a Week.

Weekly Pay: $2000.00 – $2150.40

Job Duties:

1. Perform laboratory tests and analyses, including blood bank functions, according to established procedures.
2. Ensure all test results are accurate, documented, and reported in a timely manner.
3. Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment as needed.
4. Assist in ensuring proper compliance with health and safety standards, infection control protocols, and regulatory requirements.
5. Collaborate with medical staff to interpret and communicate test results.
6. Follow protocols to ensure proper handling, storage, and disposal of biological samples.
7. Troubleshoot technical issues with laboratory equipment and resolve problems as needed.
8. Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date with laboratory technologies and procedures.

Minimum Qualification:

• Must hold a valid California Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) license.
• Previous experience in a laboratory setting, particularly with blood bank functions, is highly preferred
